The 2016 Knik 100 and Knik 200 sled dog races have been canceled due, to circumstances. We are saddened to share this news as despite our planning and efforts external factors have led us to this decision.
We acknowledge the disappointment that this announcement may bring to mushers, volunteers, sponsors and fans. The well being and safety of our participants and furry athletes are of importance to us. We believe that canceling the races is the most prudent choice for all involved.
We express our gratitude to everyone who has been a part of supporting the Knik 100 and Knik 200 races throughout the years. Your dedication and passion for dog racing do not go unnoticed.
